It has been the most wonderful Spring so far for teaching. I have met some amazing people on my One-to-One classes here in Norwich, and have begun both 1 day and 2 day options for both experienced floral designers and ‘budding’ florists alike. Please do have a look at the Classes page here for more details.

Having 2 days to explore, in real depth, how we use structure and form, light and texture, colour and mood, and apply these aesthetic themes along with sage hardware skills, wire tactics and ingredient choices… it really takes the learning onto a new level, and is very transformative for your work. The garden is pretty much full now, so we’re picking and choosing and gaining as much horticultural prowess as possible.

April has also included the most wonderful day at Green & Gorgeous in Oxfordshire, where I teamed up with the enigmatic Rachel, and we treated our ten participants to a truly magical day of flower choosing, lunch eating, flower arranging and skill elevating. Hopefully more to come in the autumn, if the stars align.

A big thank you to Rachel & Ash  of Green & Gorgeous, and to Clare West for capturing our day & to Hillcrest Cut Flower Garden for supplying us with the most beautiful ranunculus imagineable.

Some beautiful student work….
